Da Vinci, Van Gogh and Van Meerkerk were unable to rely on the internet to investigate. Emotionally, they looked for the most beautiful side, ignorant of each other's existence.
We know better, right? Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, not to mention all other Social Media channels. They almost oblige us to come up with a good presentation of yourself. Findability, visibility and familiarity have become even more important than ever. An image is worth a thousand words. The old masters had already figured that out.
The colors, tones, contrasts, reflections, hard, soft, direct, indirect light, sober, exuberant and all gradations in between.

The art of omitting...
What we don't want to see, we just photoshop away, right?! Of course, you can also Photoshop, I'm happy to take care of that. It's easier, faster and cheaper to show and photograph yourself from your best side. I enjoy doing that, at your home, on location in nature, urban areas, the construction site, office or in a studio setting.
