I believe that most people get the most beautiful wedding photos when they feel comfortable. Spontaneous moments, real emotions and the most beautiful details are photographed without you even noticing.
Not staged, but real moments of love and connection. I photograph moments as they really are at your wedding: pure, authentic and with an eye for emotion.
My style is a mix of creative portraits and stunning overviews, capturing every detail with care. I play carefully with sharpness and blur to show you the best part about you. That's what makes my wedding photography unique.
There is only one way to create beautiful photos: well-lit, sharp photos.
1. Introduction & Preparation:
We start with an informal conversation to discuss your wishes and ideas. Together, we will ensure that everything matches your unique day.
Based on our conversations, I make a detailed, relaxed daily schedule and ensure that all important moments are recorded.
2. The Big Day:
Unobtrusively present, I photograph every important and spontaneous moment. If necessary, I take control, especially when it comes to group photos. I like and often work with a videographer (Iwan Appels; The Dutch Video Guy) and, of course, with the master of ceremonies, wedding planners and the point of contact for your wedding location.
3. Aftercare:
Within a few weeks, you will receive all post-processed high-resolution recordings and you can choose the free mini photo book and possibly a much wider choice for the much larger and more extensive exclusive wedding album.
EXTRA - Backups & Backup Photographer:
While shooting at your wedding, the wedding photos are already being backed up. At the office, I use the golden backup rule.
For years, I photographed my first wedding photography with analog photo cameras (for the experts: with 35 images and larger negative formats), developed black and white films myself in my own darkroom and made black and white prints (large and contact sheets) of my color negatives.
I soon received orders from many other clients, companies, Unesco, municipalities, the province of Utrecht and, since the beginning of this year, also the province of North Brabant. Portraits, aerial photos, one-hour photo reports up to months of photo reports in different seasons of nature reserves.
My photos are always about people, which can be politicians, administrators, the royal family, my own children, residents, construction companies, athletes or craftsmen, but I prefer to photograph couples with their families and guests on one of the best days of their lives.
As long as I can photograph passion and emotion, I will be happy. Especially emotions, spontaneity and sincerity make me a happy person. That's why I still shoot so many weddings. I just like it!
